Växjö -- The U.S. Ambassador to Sweden, Michael Wood, has released an expanded list of Swedish alternative-energy companies. Ambassador Wood announced that nine new companies have been added to the list during the annual Swedish-American Entrepreneurial Days, taking place this week in Växjö and sponsored by the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce (SACC-USA). About 1,000 business representatives, including 200 from the United States, are taking part. "There has been tremendous interest since the original release of the list this spring," said Ambassador Wood. "And the new list was in such demand in Växjö that we gave them all away in a few minutes." He added that the list will continue to be updated as the Embassy reviews information from other Swedish companies interested in U.S. investment or the U.S. market.
